Edo period (1615-1868) or Meiji era (1868-1912), 19th century
Probably representing Raijin, seated with his legs crossed, wearing a broad, straw hat, carrying a drum strapped on his back, both hands holding a clog on each side, the demon's eyes and drum studs inlaid; unsigned. 3.8cm (1½in) high.
