An ivory netsuke of a bathing woman and demon

By Hidemasa II, Edo period (1615-1868), early/mid 19th century
The naked woman, probably representing Okame, seated in a shallow straw tub, wiping her brow with a humorous expression, a demon standing behind on a bucket scrubbing her back; signed Hidemasa. 4.2cm (1¾in) long.
