Suitable for mounting as a brooch or pendant, as a pair of wings for a creating a butterfly design, this fine pair of free-form boulder opals is rare in that it possesses a considerable amount of red color. Splits of boulder opal with this range of hues are nearly unheard of. Weighing 13.79 carats and measuring 30.75 x 14.11 x 4.31mm. The second opal: weighing 12.80 carats and measuring 30.95 x 13.78 x 3.97mm (2)
