CURTIS STUDIO, SEATTLE: A SCRAPBOOK OF EPHEMERA.

An album of manuscripts and printed ephemera related to the Curtis Studios in Seattle, collected by Beth Curtis and including: Newspaper coverage of the new studio at the corner of Fourth and University, 1918, plus a bulletin issued by the builder featuring two images of the interior of the studio; correspondence from the Arctic Club to the studio arranging for portraits of members to be taken, February 20, 1917; retained Curtis Studio correspondence, including the promotional letter offering the Tiffany bronzes for sale (see lot xxx); sample ads, studio receipts, appointment cards, letterhead, copy for invitations, and marketing material; gelatin silver print, "The Hopes of Youth," 5 ¼ x 14 ¼, annotated "Designed and pozed by A.F. Muhr for an exhibition of Young Ladies' Portraits at the Curtis Studio, Seattle."
