An album of manuscripts, photographs and ephemera relating to the Curtis Studio of Seattle, including: ALS of Corinne Roosevelt Robinson, cousin of Theodore Roosevelt, c.1904; group of Curtis Studio form letter invitations, c.1916; a promotional card for Curtis's "Picture-Musicale, A Vanishing Race" at the Belasco Theatre in Washington DC; an invitation for Curtis to attend a reception at the Roosevelt White House, 1905; a 1918 letter from Edmond S. Meany; a statement of respect and esteem, August 21, 1911, from members of the Rainier Club for R. H. Thursen and Curtis; a TLS of Ernest Seton thanking Curtis for permission to use Sitting Bull's war song in a future work and Curtis's retained copies of letters to Seton; a TLS of Nicholas Murray Butler, 1/15/1906, inviting Curtis to Columbia University to talk about his work; offprints of Curtis articles in Scribner's Magazine from May 1906; tear sheets of reviews; a group of Curtis studio retained correspondence and templates; 3 gelatin silver print photos of the interior of the Seattle Studio, each 8 x 10 inches, showing orotones on the wall; a promotional catalog for the studio produced by Beth Curtis; appointment cards; a gelatin silver print photograph of "Zuni Governor," 6 x 8 inches; signed copies of stock certificates relating to mining issued to Edward Curtis, 1929; a Document Signed of Curtis and Fred Metzler re: a royalty agreement on a Curtis patent, 1/30/1952, probably relating to mining.
