Footnotes

The work is extensively inscribed as follows:
'The Moco Jumbee and her Suite - The Jumbee is on stilts, with a head mounted on the actor's head (which is concealed) the music is from two baskets, like strawberry baskets, with little bells within, which are shook in tune, the swordsman dances with an air of menace, the musician is the "acteur comic" and the Jumbee assumes the "antic terrible" and is very active on her stilts.'
