Collection of approximately 30 studio portraits (some signed), groups and processional views of India princely rulers and administrators, including from Mysore, Bhopal, Gwalior, mostly gelatin silver or platinum, a few albumen, various sizes (300 x 335mm., and smaller), some mounted in presentation wrappers or on card, [c.1890-1925] (small group)

Includes: Sultan of Jahn, Begum of Bhopal (large portrait by Bourne & Shepherd, signed and dated by the sitter 27 February 1916); large study with children, signed by the photographer R. Hotz); Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV [of Mysore] on state elephant; "Birthday Procession of H.H. The Maharajah [of Mysore], 5 June 1922"; and others of Mysore, and family; Maharaja Scindia with King George V in 1905 (2, one with tiger, one on elephant), and several of his children; Installation of Maharaja of Maihar (1909, including Hugh Daly); group photo of Maharaja of Ootacamund and Daly (2); Princess Mary Kamlaraja Scindia with a shot tiger.
