Footnotes

百達翡麗,600型號,極罕有及獨特黃金手動上弦懷錶,配L. Pellarin-Leroy簽名製作之琺瑯彩繪,年份1950。附原廠候補資料庫精萃。

The Extract from the Archives indicates that this watch was sold on 28th July, 1954 and has an enamel painting on the cover. The painting was signed by the artist herself- J. Pellarin-Leroy. Along with Suzanne Rohr and M. Bischoff, Pellarin-Leroy was one of the very few artists who still master the skills of enamel miniature at the time. Since mid 20th century, Patek Philippe collaborated with Geneva's master enamellers to create pocket watches ornamented with painting that were recreated from old masterpieces. Every one of these pocket watches took months to produce, only one or two pieces were released each year. More importantly, each piece is a unique creation. And according to the sale date, the present watch is a very early work of such piece. An undoubted work of art for the tasteful and discerning eye of Patek Philippe connoisseurs.
