A rare Grainger, Lee and Co nightlight holder, circa 1830-35

In the form of a sentry box, the sides with blind Gothic windows picked out in gold on a green ground, a lithophane panel at the front depicting Napoleon in battle, the back open to receive the nightlight, 16cm high
