The Collection of the Late Richard Green, Sydney
The Maningrida Arts & Culture documentation attached verso reads: 'Bangala has depicted a small creek, Mandijerra, which runs off the Cadell River in Central Arnhemland, with Gapalma - waterweed. Djingabarrdabirr, which are woven pandanus skirts worn by Burrarra and Gunardba women, are shown on the edge of the creek bank. These represent features of the landscape and also women of the Gunardba group. And each day can be seen immersing themselves and re-emerging from the fresh water'.
