The kozuka and kogai each of shakudo worked with a panel of nanako granulation and decorated in high relief of shakudo with flowering peony blossoms and stems, signed Kato Teruaki with a kao
With a wood storage box and Tokubetsu Hozon Tosogu (Sword Fitting Especially Worthy of Preservation) certificate no. 403692 dated June 30 1987, issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Art Sword)
