The almost circular tsuba formed as a ring bridged by a central band chiseled in low relief with waves embellished with gold dots of spray, the outside of the seppadai fitted with a shakudo rim, signed Sunagawa Masanori saku (Made by Sunagawa Masanori); the second a shakudo mokko gata tsuba carved on the web with crashing waves, the dots of foam in gold
