Four tsuba
Momoyama (1568-1615) and Edo (1615-1868) period, late 16th-18th century
Each of iron with brass inlay, the first of aoigata lobed form, inlaid with ferns; the second circular, pierced and inlaid with leaves and tendrils; the third formed as two confronted myoga (Japanese ginger) motifs with inlaid details; the fourth circular with a brass rim, unpierced except for one hitsuana and inlaid with leaves and tendrils
Each with a wood storage box
The first tsuba 3 1/4in (8.3cm) high
