The heavy wood panel painted in ink and polychrome pigments with a commemorative group portrait of the armor of Kuroda Nagamasa (1568-1623) and his 24 closest retainers, including Kuroda Toshitaka (1554-1596), Kuroda Naoyuki (1564-1609), and Kuroda Toshinori (1561-1612), illegibly inscribed, sealed, and dated Kinoto-u koshu [] hi, possibly corresponding to a day in late autumn, 1735 or 1795
