Footnotes

潘縣 泰國 約十五世紀 青釉碗

This celadon stoneware bowl is a good example of the type produced in the Phan kilns of Northern Thailand. The pale olive-green glaze is evenly applied with a glossy finish and fine crazing, without substantial pooling or drizzling. It has a nice translucency, revealing the buff-colored body underneath. The bowl's interior has delicately incised combed bands and a floral medallion in the well. Similar Phan wares are published in Brown, The Ceramics of South-East Asia, 2000, pl.XLIIa & b.
