Picture postcard SIGNED ("L. Bleriot"), 86 x 135 mm, 1909, featuring Bleriot's Type XI monoplane on display after crossing, with printed description announcing the display of Bleriot's monoplane at Selfridge's department store.
*With: two collotype postcards depicting Bleriot and Paulhan in flight, each with October 3-17, 1909 Port-Aviation stamps.

Excellent souvenir of Bleriot's July 25, 1909 English Channel crossing. Bleriot was an instant celebrity upon his landing and his monoplane was placed on display at Selfridge's department store, London.
