Analysis Geometrica. Cadiz: Christophori de Requena, 1698.
4to (210 x 147 mm). Engraved additional title, woodcut initials and diagrams throughout the text. Contemporary vellum, spine titled in ink. Several stray spots, instance of marginalia crossed through, binding with ties absent, soiled and with some loss to fore-edge.
Provenance: Joseph H. Kershner, of Mercersburg College (ownership signature, dated 1878, to printed title).

FIRST EDITION of this rare work of geometry that was favorably cited by Sir Isaac Newton.
