Accompanied by AGL report no. 1116644, dated 09 August 2021, stating that the paraíba tourmaline, is of Brazil origin, with natural color and no clarity enhancement. Paraíba is a trade term/color variety applied by the AGL to the copper-bearing variety of elbaite tourmaline, which was first discovered in the Paraíba state of Brazil.
Accompanied by GIA report no. 2205706612, dated 18 November 2019, stating that the tourmaline, is of Brazil origin. This copper and manganese bearing tourmaline may be called "paraíba tourmaline" in the trade.
