A large Wedgwood creamware vase and cover, circa 1770-80

Of two-handled classical form, with a crisply moulded band of laurel leaves on the shoulder and swags of drapery hung on the main body, the cover with a sibyl finial modelled as a classical lady seated and holding a book, the vase retaining a large proportion of the original cold-gilded dash decoration, 41cm high, unmarked (2)
