An engraved airtwist cordial glass and a wine glass, circa 1750

On double-series stems enclosing two pairs of mercurial corkscrew threads around a mercurial column above conical feet, the tall cordial with a short drawn trumpet bowl decorated with a continuous band of fruiting vine below the rim, 16.9cm high, the wine with an ogee bowl decorated with a leafy flower spray, a bee to the reverse, 13.5cm high (2)
