Footnotes

Provenance:
Offered directly by Bryan Ferry.

Roxy Music's debut was in 1972 and the band thought of themselves as 'Art Pop' and part of the underground movement. They parted ways in 1983 but reformed for a reunion tour in 2001, the first tour the piano in this lot was used on after being purchased as new. As confirmed by Ferry's office the Yamaha has been used extensively by Bryan Ferry in solo performances and with Roxy Music tours that have included Andy Mackay, Paul Thompson and Phil Manzanera.

Roxy Music Reunion Tour, 2001,
Bryan Ferry Frantic Tour, 2002-2004,
