Pink Floyd: A Rare, Original Autographed Concert Ticket,

1969,
for the St. James Hall, Chesterfield, 27th March, the reverse signed by David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Rick Wright and Nick Mason in black felt-tip pen, the ticket numbered 630 on the front with fluorescent print, 3 1/2in x 6in (8.8cm x 15.2cm)

Footnotes

Pink Floyd were booked to play in Chesterfield at St. James Hall for the Chesterfield Technical College Rag Ball. The gig was organised by David McPhie, local record shop owner, manager for Shape Of The Rain (who were support on the night) and regular music promoter in Chesterfield under the club name, Velvet Underground.

Provenance:
According to information from the vendor of this and the previous lot, he attended the gig and, during the support act's appearance, got into conversation with Nick Mason, who had come into the audience to watch them. He agreed to the vendor going backstage to meet the rest of Pink Floyd and that is when he obtained their autographs on the ticket and album.
