Footnotes

Running for three seasons between 2014-2017, Detectorists is the BAFTA-winning comedy TV series following the charming exploits of two metal detectorists and their families. Diana Rigg played Mackenzie Crook's mother-in-law 'Veronica' in six episodes alongside co-stars Toby Jones and Rachael Stirling (Diana's daughter). Around the border of the prints are the lyrics by Johnny Flynn for the production's theme song.

Diana Rigg enjoyed Detectorists to the extent that she asked her daughter (who was starring as 'Becky' in the show) to ask Mackenzie Crook if she could be involved. By chance, Crook was already writing a part for Becky's mother, with Diana in mind.
