Footnotes

Based on the novel by Laura Black (a pseudonym of Roger Longrigg), Mother Love centres on Kit and Angela, a British couple whose lives are threatened by the increasingly unpredictable and vengeful machinations of Kit's mother Helena (Rigg). Diana Rigg was awarded her second BAFTA in 2000, for a Special Award for The Avengers shared with Honor Blackman, Joanna Lumley, and Linda Thorson.
