Footnotes

Although Classical Theatre was Diana Rigg's favourite professional field, she was always grateful for the world-wide fame which The Avengers brought her. At the time, she said she was working so hard that she never had the opportunity to fully appreciate the Swinging Sixties. Diana once commented "they totally passed me by because I was working too hard!".
