A Meissen outside-decorated satirical group of an elegant couple with Harlequin, mid 19th century

Modelled by E.A. Leuteritz in 1846-48, as a lady wearing a flower-decorated crinoline skirt offering her hand to a bowing gentleman wearing a puce coat edged with gilt scrollwork and floral waistcoat, to his right Harlequin kneeling behind an urn on a pedestal, all on a gilt-edged oval base, 21.5cm high, crossed swords mark and - in blue, incised model number Y10., red painter's mark and 30 in black (haircrack to underside of base, minor restoration)
