A pair of Meissen figural candelabra allegorical of The Seasons, late 19th century

Modelled by E.A. Leuteritz, each with a domed base on four scroll feet rising to two putti, emblematic of Spring and Summer, and Autumn and Winter, respectively, seated at the base of a scrollwork shaft with moulded foliage and applied with flowers and leaves, surmounted by a sconce mounted with a removable three-arm candelabrum applied with leafy, flowering branches with four sconces, 48.5cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, incised model numbers E.128 and E.129, impressed numbers (minor restoration and chips) (4)
