A Sèvres green-ground cup and saucer (gobelet 'litron' et soucoupe), dated 1782

Of the third size, decorated by Jean-Armand Fallot with continuous gilt bands of birds amidst foliage on a green ground between scrolling foliate bands, the saucer with a central bird in flight, the cup: 5.9cm high, the saucer: 12cm diam., interlaced LL monograms enclosing date letter ee and painter's mark F for Fallot in blue, incised 31cc to saucer and 56 to cup (some wear and scattered retouching to the gilding) (2)
