A Sèvres green-ground cup and saucer (gobelet 'Hébert' et soucoupe), dated 1757-78

Of the second size, the saucer painted by Vincent Taillandier, reserved with a large flower-shaped central panel edged with gilt floral scrollwork and enclosing loose flower garlands issuing from the corners, the cup similarly decorated and applied with interlaced scrolling handle, gilt dentil borders to the rims, the cup: 6.6cm high, the saucer: 14.3cm diam., interlaced LL monogram enclosing date letter D (saucer) and date letter E (cup) in blue, painter's mark for V. Taillandier on saucer and traces of painter's mark to cup, incised mark to cup (minor rubbing) (2)
