A 17-Bore Percussion 1856 Pattern Native (India) Police Carbine
Dated 1859

Of regulation pattern, with bright sighted barrel stamped '92' on the breech flat, dated border engraved flat lock with 'Tower' and 'VR' crowned on the tail, the butt (chipped) with circular Birmingham arsenal mark on one side, regulation brass mounts including trigger-guard stamped '3-40' on the tang, and stirrup ramrod, Birmingham proof marks
