ATTRIBUTED TO CARTIER: ROCK CRYSTAL, DIAMOND, SAPPHIRE, PEARL AND ENAMEL BRACELET, CIRCA 1910

The hexagonal, slightly convex, rock crystal plaques with applied rose-cut diamond and circular-cut sapphire rosettes, with millegrain and knifewire detail, connected by green guilloché enamel and seed pearl links, mounted in gold and platinum, unsigned, maker's marks GA for Georges Andrey, numbered 1134, French assay marks, length 21.5cm

Footnotes

Andrey specialised in producing gem-set and platinum jewels for Cartier until the 1920s. Their mark with the spray of mistletoe was registered on 27th June 1902 and they were located at 15 rue Gaillon and later 3 rue Choiseul, in the 2nd Arrondisement of Paris.
