Eighty Years of Professional Collecting, FIRST EDITION IN A BINDING BY ROGER POWELL, ink note by Powell describing the binding and materials used tipped-in at end, full brown morocco with a vertical panel of gilt and blind linear decoration, black morocco inlays lettered for the title on upper cover, g.e., morocco-backed chemise and slipcase, large 8vo, New York, Appleton-Century- Crofts, 1961

A fine binding by Roger Powell (1896-1990), described by Bernard Middleton as "one of the most important and influential bookbinders of the last hundred years and, arguably, of any period", exhibited at the London Arts Council Exhibition, 1965, No. 48.
