An Egyptian pale turquoise glazed composition model offering tray
Late Period, circa 664-332 B.C.
Composed of two rows of chalice-shaped miniature offering cups on an integral rectangular base, one cup now missing, 3.8cm high, the base 10.5cm x 5.5cm

For a similar glazed offering tray in the Louvre see Faïences de L'Antiquité de l'Égypte à L'iran, Paris, 2005, p. 149, no. 402. Two of the cups in the above lot appear to retain their original contents, which may have been an ointment.
