A Victorian Scottish white-metal mouted regimental Dirk

With tapering blade, notched and fullered along the back to the double-edged point, baluster wooden grip of swelling circular section carved with beaded Celtic interlace, the pommel-cap with glass cabouchon, in red velvet-covered scabbard with applied thistles and engraved crests and motto, with accompanying matching knife and fork, in a tole case with matching skean dhu and applied brass plaque inscribed 'Colin C.Mackenzie Esq, 79th Highlanders'.
