A Jacobite jelly glass

Circa 1750
The bell-shaped bowl engraved with a six-petalled rose flanked by open and closed buds, on a compressed teared knop on domed foot, 10cm high.

Jacobite jelly glasses are understandably rare as they are not associated with the drinking of toasts. An example was offered by Delomosne and Son as part of the Seton Veitch collection, 2006, No.11b
