Rare and important suite of engravings of Michelangelo's frescoes on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. This work was made for students to study the anatomy of models, with plates engraved by the Mantuan artist Giovanni Battista de Rossi. The plate counts vary in reference sources between 72 and 74.
