Born in 1935 in an American-Polish family, the young Henry Dunay started as a goldsmith apprentice at age 14. He built his independent workshop in just seven years and took on assignments from other jewellers such as Harry Winston and Van Cleef & Arpels, whilst developing his own brand and business. He stepped into the public spotlight after receiving the De Beers Diamonds International Awards in 1967. His work has been worn by celebrities such as Margaret Thatcher, Elizabeth Taylor, and Nicole Kidman. Most known for his bold designs and fine craftmanship, Dunay remains one of the most influential names in contemporary jewellery design. This necklace we are offering here is representative of Dunay's elegant marriage between gold and gemstones.
