Syria, 15th/ 16th Century
of hemispherical form with flattened rim, profusely engraved and inlaid in silver with alternating roundels containing circular blazon and foliate designs, interspersed with geometric inscriptions and foliate patterns, the base with a central flowerhead surrounded by floral vines, traces of polychrome enamelling and possibly gold inlay
