Inscriptions: al-'izz wa al-iqbal / wa al-dawlah wa / al-sa'adah wa /al-salamah wa/, 'Glory and prosperity and wealth and happiness and well-being'; bi'l-yumn wa al-barakah wa al-bara/kah wa al-surur wa al-sa'adah wa / al-salamah wa al-shifa'ah wa a/l-shukrah wa al-shakir (?) ... wa al-baqa li-sahibihi, 'With good-fortune and blessing and blessing (sic) and joy and happiness and well-being and (Prophet's) intercession and gratitude and ... and long-life to its owner'; bi'l-yumn wa al-bara/kah wa al-surur /wa al-sa'adah wa ... / wa al-salamah ..., 'With good-fortune and blessing and joy and happiness and ... and well-being'.
The engraving on the present lot is exceptionally fine and extends to beneath the foot, which is uncommon.
