Footnotes

Pir Budhan Shah (d. 1643), also called Baba Budhan Ali Shah, was a venerated Sufi who was supposed to have debated religious matters with Guru Nanak in Rawalpindi (though their dates make this impossible), and who later accepted Sikh religious thought during the time of Guru Hargobind (1595-1644).
