each of rectangular form, the natural silk ground embroidered in polychrome with large flowerheads, florets, buds and leaves, mounted
the larger 117 x 51.5 cm.(2)

These two lengths of embroidered silk are of a type which would have been produced in Gujarat for export to Europe where they were made into garments or used as soft furnishings.
