the single-edged steel blade of slightly curved form with single fuller, decorated in gold inlay with inscription-filled cartouches to one side flanked by foliate motifs, large partial palmette motifs filled with vegetal interlace near the forte, the centre of the hilt and forte with vegetal interlace, the walrus ivory hilt with prominent ears forming the pommel, the wood scabbard clad entirely in leather with silver mount to top

Zahmını gördükde cerrahı mumla ararsın, 'Do not approach me, you will be burnt by my sword of execution, On looking at your wound you will urgently seek a surgeon, 'amel-i ibrahim sene 1241 sahib 'abbas ağa, 'Work of Ibrahim, year 1241 (1825-6). The owner, 'Abbas Agha.'
