Ronald Cobb (British, 1907-1977): A large original costume design of a Murray's Cabaret Club showgirl in a grey dress with cape,

1950's,
the hand-painted pencil, watercolour and gouache costume design featuring a showgirl in a short grey dress with white ribbon bustle, and grey and white bolero cape, unsigned, unframed, 7 1/2in x 16in (19cm x 42cm)

Footnotes

One of Cobb's more sophisticated designs, similar to the glamour encapsulated in a Horst P. Horst model from Vogue in the 1950's, or inspired by a Cecil Beaton costume design.
