May I too from this lifetime onwards remain inseparable from Thutob Wangchuk's3 views and be reborn to serve the excellent lama for as long as I have not obtained the state of enlightenment.4 May this be auspicious!
A title given to several abbots of Ngor Monastery.
The 7th abbot of Ngor Monastery Konchok Pelwa (1445-1514; dkon mchog 'phel ba).
Mahāsiddha Virūpa also known as the 'Lord of Magical Power' (Thutop Wangchuk; mthu stobs dbang phyug).
This particular prayer of aspiration can be found in several works composed by Sakyapa masters. The earliest recension of this stanza seems to be in the Precious Teachings of the Five Venerable Masters of the Glorious Sakya Tradition by Tashi Lhundrup (bkra shis lhun grub; 17th-18th century); see dPal ldan sa skya'i rje btsun gong ma lnga'i gsung rab rin po che'i par gyi sgo 'phar 'byed pa'i dakr chag 'phrul gyi lde'u mig.
