A Meissen double-handled beaker and saucer, circa 1725-30

The beaker decorated on each side with a polychrome chinoiserie scene, the details heightened in gilding, within a gilt scrollwork and Böttger-lustre cartouche edged with purple and iron-red scrollwork, the saucer with a similar scene and cartouche, gilt strap- and scrollwork borders to the rims, the beaker: 8.2cm high; the saucer: 13.8cm diam., gilt R. to both (tiny flat chip to beaker footrim) (2)
