A Meissen Hausmaler double-handled beaker and saucer, circa 1720, the decoration later

Decorated in the Seuter workshop in Augsburg in polychrome enamels and gilding, with a gilt ground reserved with a lady dressed as a shepherdess reading a book of music and attended by two sheep, within a shaped panel edged with a tooled border above a gilt scrollwork pedestal, the beaker with a gardener on one side and a lady feeding a bird on the other, the beaker: 8.5cm high; the saucer: 12.5cm (very minor rubbing to gilding on beaker) (2)
