A Meissen Hausmaler double-handled beaker and saucer, circa 1720, the decoration later
Decorated in in the Seuter workshop in Augsburg, each side painted in Schwarzlot and iron-red flesh tones with a man and hound in a landscape and a cook in a kitchen, details picked out in gilding, within silver scrollwork cartouches, the handles and rims decorated in silver, the saucer with a similar scene of men at a card game, the beaker: 8cm high; the saucer: 12.8cm diam. (minor retouching to silvered rims) (2)
