A Vincennes bleu céleste-ground cup and saucer, dated 1754

Gobelet 'Hébert' et soucoupe of the second size, the saucer reserved with a large flower-shaped central panel edged with gilt floral scrollwork and enclosing loose flower garlands issuing from the corners, the cup similarly decorated and applied with interlaced branch handle embellished with gilt-edged vine leaves, gilt dentil borders to the rims, the cup: 6.7cm high; the saucer: 13.8cm diam., interlaced LL monograms enclosing date letter A in blue, painter's mark for François Binet (minor rubbing to gilding) (2)
