A rare Ludwigsburg model of a monkey seated on a dog pulling a cart, circa 1765

Possibly modelled by G.F. Riedel, the monkey wearing a green hat, tunic with blue spots and a ruff collar and yellow breeches, perched on a dog in harness pulling a cart on a rectangular base modelled with gilt-edged scrollwork, 13cm across, crowned interlaced CC monogram in underglaze-blue (small chips)
