A pair of Frankenthal figures of a lady and gentleman with fur muffs, circa 1765

Modelled by Johann Friedrich Lück, both wearing fur-lined elegant costumes with their hands in fur-lined muffs, the bases moulded with gilt- and puce-edged scrollwork, 15cm and 15.5cm high, crowned CT monograms and AB in underglaze-blue, both incised M, the lady with painter's mark I 30 in purple (minor chips) (2)
